Experience the Future of Cinema Technology with Procella

A classic gets reborn, the floor shakes without stealing your space, and the screen finally sounds as good as it looks. We sit down with Gerard from Procella to explore a milestone year that delivers a redesigned P8, a new Uno subwoofer line, and Immersio, a complete approach to marrying high-performance audio with direct-view LED.

We start with the new P8, which keeps the soul of Procella’s first loudspeaker while modernising everything that matters. A rear-mounted driver cleans up the baffle, a magnetised grille streamlines the look, and a newly integrated waveguide improves off-axis response and crossover behaviour. With roughly half the crossover components of its predecessor, the P8 aims for lower loss and tighter imaging. Most importantly, the dispersion strategy is tuned for where people actually sit—small, medium, and large rooms—so coverage stays consistent across rows.

Then bass gets practical. The Uno series names subs by what they are—single-driver, sealed enclosures built for room volume. The U21 manages a 21-inch driver in a cabinet only about 300 mm deep, ideal for baffle walls and tight installs. For those who want maximum cone area with the same footprint, the U24 adds depth to house a 24-inch driver while keeping the front face identical. A compact U12 joins the family for smaller spaces or multi-sub arrays. All sealed, all designed for control, and all ready to integrate with modern bass management.

Immersio ties it together. Partnering with NanoLumens, Procella offers a 4K direct-view LED wall with a cinematic scope aspect ratio, available in Premium and Elite tiers, backed by up to a 10-year warranty. Aurora 23-bit processing preserves black levels and grayscale even at lower brightness, extending longevity without sacrificing punch. In the demo space, a 7.1.4 layout with P6-based LCR and surrounds shows how a non-perforated LED screen and a full-range audio system above the display can align sound and image so dialogue locks to the picture. Pixel pitch options (0.7, 0.9, 1.2 mm) adjust screen size and seating distance, making them suitable for high-end homes and boutique cinemas.

If you care about room-aware dispersion, sealed bass that fits real walls, and LED images with true blacks, this conversation is your blueprint. Subscribe, share with a friend who’s planning a theater, and leave a review telling us your room size and which sub you’d choose.
